John Fontes

Coach John began playing soccer since he could walk. Growing up in Scituate, he went from playing youth soccer at the age of 5, to the varsity soccer team all 4 years at Scituate High School.  He earned East Coast All Scholastic for 3 consecutive years and attended American Ambassador Soccer Club- playing in England, Holland, Germany and France before going on to play at Massasoit Community College. He’s been an Assistant Coach for Scituate Youth Soccer for several years and recently became an Assistant Coach at Galway Rovers. John is married and has three beautiful girls, two of which currently play with Galway Rovers.
