It is not everyday that professional soccer players are able to work with youth players in the United States. It is significantly less common that players from England's top flight are able to do so, and that is exactly what happened this November. Former Manchester United & English National Team star Alan Smith and Lawrie Dudfield (former player for Hull City & Leicester City) orchestrated a two-day session with Galway Rover's coach Darren Lloyd. Our players, along with several other local players received top-of-the-line training and expertise from these former stars, who have played the beautiful game at it's highest level! Needless to say it was a very exciting and special event for everybody involved. We are looking forward to having them back again in the near future!
